Child Health Programme
From
the year 2000-2002 this program conducted in Pallipalayam
Block with the financial and technical support of Tamilnadu
Voluntary Health Association (TNVHA), Chennai.
Objectives
- To promote correct and good health practices among
the rural women folk
- To develop a clear understanding between the community
and the Government and other institutions in promoting the
RCH program
Specific
Objectives
- To motivate people to seek and utilize health services
from PHCs then and there
- To create awareness among the rural women in basic health
needs by providing health education
- To promote advocacy services for the adolescents in the
target area on family life and reproductive health
- To involve the community in participating, planning and
execution
- To promote the usage of contraceptive methods among the
eligible couples
- To make the women groups feel about their rights in fulfilling
their physical, health and mental needs.
