WORD started its social activities in the year 1988 with the Tailoring Centre for the rural women. As Pallipalayam and its adjacent areas are famous for textiles and power loom industries the demand for skilled person in stitching is always a greater demand. The tailoring centre functioning in Pallipalayam caters to the needs of thousands of rural women every year.
